General information

Polymer Service GmbH Merseburg (PSM) operates a testing laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for ‘Mechanical Testing of Plastics (MPK)’. The MPK testing laboratory is equipped with material testing machines from various manufacturers for different testing purposes, as well as additional testing equipment – some of which has been developed in-house – based on many years of testing experience, to solve complex tasks. PSM’s technical equipment includes measurement and testing systems for plastics analysis (spectroscopy, thermal analysis), physical, mechanical and technological testing, as well as environmental simulation. Specific areas of testing include film and elastomer testing, long-term behaviour, technical fracture mechanics, plastic windows, surface testing and artificial ageing.
