Since most modern [[Materials Testing|material]] and quality [[Materials Testing|testing]] methods determine measurable characteristics as values and compare them with corresponding requirements, the definition as ‘measuring test’ as opposed to ‘counting test’ makes sense.&lt;br /&gt;
