Katrin Reincke has continued her research work since 2012 as a research assistant and since 2016 as a business unit manager at [[Polymer Service GmbH Merseburg | Polymer Service GmbH Merseburg (PSM)]]. She was appointed Managing Director of PSM in 2022 and took over as Chairman of the Management Board in 2024.

She has been a publicly appointed and sworn expert in the field of ‘Plastics Elastomers and films – Testing and damage analysis’ since 2014.

In 2019, Katrin Reincke was elected President of the [http://amk-merseburg.de/ ‘Akademie Mitteldeutsche Kunststoffinovationen (AMK)’].

Katrin Reincke was appointed Honorary Professor for ‘Materials Diagnostics – Materials Testing’ at TU Wien in 2020. Prof Reincke has thus received the teaching assignment to teach courses at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration at TU Wien in the field of ‘Materials Diagnostics – Materials Testing’. Based on her extraordinary expertise and her networking with other scientific institutions, she has authored and co-authored numerous articles in textbooks and specialist books.
