For numerical calculations, the [[Crack Tip Opening Displacement Concept (CTOD)|CTOD]] value is determined as the intersection of the crack edges with the straight line extending at an angle of 90° from the crack initiation point using the following relationship (see also Fig. 1):&lt;br /&gt;
